Radiators

Your radiator is responsible for helping to keep the engine running at the right temperature. It does so by sending a mixture of coolant and water through inlet and outlet hoses connected to the engine.

The cooling liquid is first sent from the radiator to the engine block. It collects heat that's been building up in the engine and then returns to the radiator. There, it's dispersed into the atmosphere through the radiator's large, flat, finned surface.

Even the best radiator can eventually fail, though. If that happens, you're at risk of your engine overheating. Take too long to resolve the issue and you may wind up suffering serious engine damage.

Fortunately, it's not hard to spot radiator trouble. Signs include:

  • Weird noises coming from the engine
  • Large puddles of red, green, or yellow liquid under your vehicle
  • The sweet, syrupy smell of coolant
  • Rising temperature gauge
  • Unable to keep a consistent cabin temperature
  • Dash warning light comes on

Repair Any Issues With Genuine OEM Radiators

If you experience any of these symptoms, check your radiator and cooling system,. If you're not having problems, check the owner's manual for your recommended maintenance schedule. When it's time to replace a faulty radiator part, insist on using the only ones that are made to fit your model – the ones made by your manufacturer. Order yours from our online Mopar auto parts catalog and we'll ship it right out. Buy now to save both time and money!
