The Dodge Challenger is a true American muscle car, with a storied history that spans more than five decades. From its debut in 1970 to its current iteration, the Challenger has been a favorite among car enthusiasts for its powerful engines, bold design, and aggressive styling.

The first generation Challenger was introduced in 1970 as a two-door coupe. It was available with a variety of engines, including the legendary 426 HEMI V8. This first generation Challenger was known for its sharp looks and impressive performance, and it quickly became a favorite among car enthusiasts. However, it was only produced for a short period of time, from 1970 to 1974.

After a hiatus of more than three decades, the Challenger returned to the market in 2008 as a modern interpretation of the original muscle car. This new Challenger featured a retro-inspired design that paid homage to the original, and was available with a variety of engines, including a 425 horsepower HEMI V8. This new Challenger quickly became a favorite among car enthusiasts and it was well received by the market.

The Challenger has undergone several updates over the years, but it has always remained true to its muscle car roots. In 2011, Dodge introduced the Challenger SRT8 392, a high-performance version of the Challenger that featured a 6.4-liter V8 engine and a top speed of 182 mph. In 2015, Dodge introduced the Challenger Scat Pack, a performance package that added even more power to the Challenger's already impressive lineup of engines.

The current generation Challenger was introduced in 2019, and it continues to pay homage to the original, while also incorporating modern design elements and cutting-edge technology. It features a more aggressive design, with a wider and lower stance, and is available with a variety of engines, including a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 that produces up to 797 horsepower.  Fully upgradable thru Mopar's Direct Connection.
